Dear Church Family,

I wanted to update you on several things surrounding our ministry. First of all, our 2nd mission trip to Joplin, MO is going very well! We have heard great reports from “Joplin #2!” We now have 20 people on the field, and they have reported that the effort is not about clearing debris...it is about helping people put their lives back together in the name of Jesus Christ. I am proud of these efforts and our missionaries, and I continue to be amazed at the doors God is opening!
 
This brings me to my 2nd item…A 3rd trip to Joplin is now coming into focus. A number of you have come to me and indicated a deep desire to go. Trip #3 has been set for July 18-21 (Monday-Thursday). If you are interested in being a part of this team, please contact the church office as soon as possible.
 
Finally, the decorating & preparation for Vacation Bible School is swirling around us at the church. VBS begins this coming Monday, June 20! Please get your child registered! Please speak to Jeff if you desire to be a part of the team! It’s going to be a fantastic week. We need YOU to be a part!
 
It truly is a Super Summer! We have great things happening in our Children’s Ministry. We have “God-things” happening among our teens, and our church as a whole is being inspired in missions!
