Our mission is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious students are becoming deeply committed Christians. We accomplish this mission by equipping parents, adults and staff, as well as offering contemporary programs to lead students into a deeply committed faith.

Welcome to the student ministry of First Baptist.  We work with and minister to all students from 7th-12th grades.  We want you to check out the opportunities that are available to you to learn, grow, and serve. Our goal is to help students and their families come to know Christ and then follow him passionately as his disciples. We try to accomplish these goals through various programs, opportunities, and relationships.

Most of the time our students meet in the Family Life Center. It's on the corner of N 15th St & W 5th Ave. They meet for Bible Fellowship on Sunday mornings, Pursuit on Sunday evenings, and Edge on Wednesday evenings.

Our Bible Fellowship groups meet at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings.  All junior high and senior high students start out together in the Edge room and then we break into our small groups.  We welcome you to a small group class and hope you have a great time learning more about God and how He wants to impact your life.  Our small groups are a great time to meet other youth and share life together.  Come and check it out.  We have great teachers who are eager to open up and discuss the Bible with you.

Pursuit is our time on Sunday nights when we meet at various locations to go more in-depth in our Bible study. We use this time for discipleship. We will cover a range of topics throughout the year and each session will range from 4-8 weeks depending on the topic and the length of that particular study. Most of the time the junior high and senior high will meet at different locations, but occasionally they will meet together for certain studies. We meet at 5:45 pm on Sunday nights and usually finish around 7:15 pm.

Students meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm for Edge. This meeting finishes around 8:00 pm. At the Edge, we enjoy a great time of worship together. We play some games, sing songs, meet new people, hear a message from God's Word, and hang out together.
